Nick has more than 25 years’ experience in the pub sector, having started his career at Bass on its graduate programme followed by a short time with Whitbread. He founded Realpubs with Malcolm Heap in 2002, building into an acclaimed leading pub company, before selling an estate of 14 freehold pubs to Greene King in 2011. In 2014, he started new venture called Urban Pubs & Bars with Heap, which has grown to 66 pubs and restaurants across the capital, including the acclaimed Salt Yard group.
