Charlie studied Zoology at Cambridge University before working in the city as a strategy consultant. After a year working for the founders of Wahaca, Charlie founded Flat Iron as a business before launching as a pop up above a pub in east London in 2012. It now boasts 15 sites across London, Cambridge and Leeds. Charlie co-founded The Devonshire in 2023 with Oisin Rogers, which was distinguished with winning ‘opening of the year’ at the MCA Hospitality Awards 2024.
