The City Pub Company was co-founded by Clive Watson, alongside David Bruce and John Roberts in late 2011, with the east and west divisions later merged and the company completing an IPO in 2017. A qualified Chartered Accountant trained at Price Waterhouse, Clive has spent the last 25 years in the pub retail industry, co-founding and leading The Capital Pub Company, which was sold to Greene King for £93m, and Tup Inns, which was sold for £4m. He is also a non-executive director of West Berkshire Brewery and an Investment Consultant for The City Pub Fund.
