David is chief executive at Stonegate Group, leading the largest pub company in the UK, with a diverse estate of over 4500 pubs, bars, and venues across the country. Joining in January 2023, David has worked in pubs all his life, with his first job aged 18 in a Glasgow pulling pints behind the bar. His first senior management job was as group operations director at G1 Group, where he spent six years, and oversaw its £60m of managed house business. He went on to join BrewDog, where he spent eight years in a variety of roles, including chief operating office & president, group COO, and CEO retail. David also sits on the UKHospitality board and was previously a non-executive director at NQ64.
