Appointed to the newly created role of Chief Development Officer in October 2024, Ed is the longest-standing member of Marston's Executive Committee, having joined the Group in 2001, bringing unrivalled knowledge of the business across both its Operations and Property functions. Ed is responsible for developing and delivering Marston's ambitious investment strategy, with a particular focus on building out the Group's differentiated pub formats. Central to this is the rollout of Grandstand - Marston's new Locals Sport pub format - which transforms community pubs into the go-to destination for live sport, bringing local fans together in a vibrant, sociable environment. Ed leads this work across the full development lifecycle, from concept and capital allocation through to construction and launch.
