Karen Bosher is an experienced C-suite leader, board advisor and former FTSE Board Director with more than 30 years’ experience across hospitality, retail and consumer businesses. Known for combining commercial performance with people-first leadership, Karen has built a reputation for leading complex multi-site operations through growth, transformation and cultural change.
Karen spent almost a decade at Greene King, where she served as a Board Director and held senior executive positions including Managing Director and Chair of Premium, Urban and Venture Brands. Prior to this, she was Retail Director at JJB Sports. Today, she works as a strategic advisor and Non-Executive Director to founder-led, scaling and hospitality technology businesses.
Widely respected for her candid and commercially grounded perspective on leadership, workforce strategy and operational excellence, Karen has been recognised as a European Diversity Champion, named on The Guardian Power List of Allies, and recognised by WiHTL as a Role Model for Inclusivity.
Karen is also the creator of The Fairness Principle — a leadership framework exploring how fairness, governance and organisational design shape future enterprise performance.
