Jayson Perfect is Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Butcombe Group, one of the UK’s leading premium pub and accommodation operators. Jayson began his career running restaurants in South Africa before relocating to the UK to join Fuller’s, where he spent 14 years progressing from pub management into multi site operations. He later became the Tenanted Trade Director at Palmer’s Brewery, before joining Butcombe Group in March 2017 as Managing Director, Pubs & Inns, leading future strategy, acquisitions and growth. Jayson has played a leading role in the substantial expansion and evolution of Butcombe Group, including the acquisition of 21 Wadworth pubs in 2020 and the merger with Cirrus Inns in December 2022. Now as Chief Operating Officer, he leads the overall operations of the wider business, with responsibility for championing innovation as part of the brewing business and boosting distribution, as well as for driving performance, standards and growth across the Group’s managed and tenanted pub divisions. Most recently, Jayson has overseen the development and successful launch of Butcombe’s premier collection – Butcombe Boutique Inns, which under his management has become a significant growth driver for the business and is renowned for its stunning locations, unique personalities and exceptional offer across the 15 pubs in the portfolio.
